The Africa Series
In the month of December in 2008, I had the honor of living with a wonderful and generous family in South Africa. Johan had just retired as a safari hunting guide, and I was invited to stay with him, his wife Marie, and their children. Not only was I welcomed into their home to see the family life of another country, I was also taken on many photo safaris by someone who had made scouting in the bush of Africa his life. I came home with irreplacable memories, and many photos to share with everyone. The paintings you see here are just the first of many. This first set is called "The Eyes of Africa"
